Music has been a constant throughout NITRILE AFFAIR's career since his earliest years. Influenced by essential artists such as Depeche Mode, Bauhaus, Neu!, Can, Nirvana and Brian Eno, he developed a deep curiosity for sonic exploration that led him to learn the art of mixing and record collecting.
As a DJ, he actively took part in the growth of southern Spain's electronic scene during a key stage of its evolution, sharing the booth with international artists such as Paul Kalkbrenner, Sascha Funke, Mia, The Modernist, Richard Davis, Murcof and Fax, among other notable names in contemporary electronic music.
NITRILE AFFAIR's relationship with vinyl goes beyond mere technical preference. Shaped by record culture and analogue mixing, he finds in this format a way of building sets where time, selection and transition take on a more conscious, craft-like dimension. Much of his performances are played entirely on vinyl, exploring territory that spans Ambient Dub, Hypnotic Techno, Deep House, Techno House, Electro and experimental electronic music.
During his time living in the UK (2014–2020) he broadened his musical experience working as a session drummer at Spirit Studios Manchester, a historic studio associated with landmark artists such as The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Simply Red and 808 State.
NITRILE AFFAIR was born in 2019 as a creative platform for a fully personal artistic vision, moving between Dub Techno, Electro, Minimal Techno, Ambient and hybrid electronic landscapes. His discography includes Abby SS EP, Versatile EP (Mona Records) and Osaka EP (Insectorama). Far from the limits of traditional genres, he builds immersive sonic experiences where experimentation, emotion and musical narrative take centre stage.
